Following Kenya total closure of the betting companies without considering taxes from the business, many Ugandans have appealed to the government to copy this example.

As per now, many Ugandan youths spend all their time in betting stations, hence failing to be productive.

In our conversations with various Ugandans, they argued the government to consider closing the betting companies and encourage them to engage in other productive activities that will generate income & taxes.

The Kenyan government has taken a firm decision of expelling the betting companies and deporting the owners.
