Buhweju members of parliament accused the daughter of minster Peter Lokeris Dasta Lokeris of illegally issuing of a mining license to in Buhweju district.
The area MPs Francis Mwejukye and district woman MP Oliver Kyoyekyenka today made their submission regarding evictions which occurred in the Buhweju district which has left many people jobless.
While appearing in the committee chaired by Kiboga MP Keffa Kiwanuka these pinned ministers daughter Duster Lokeris who is masterminding the process of suing license which they have described as an abuse of office.
Mwejukye called upon the committee to speed up the process of coming up with the law which will guide artisan miners.
During his submission Mwejukye also accused the regional police commander Jessica Keigombe who is also involved in the fraudulent process of issuing out a license at accost to all miners intending to engage into mining.
Speaking in the same committee the district woman MP Kyoyekyenka called for government intervention to investigate the process under which miners were evicted which has left many jobless.
However, Ruhinda north MP Thomas Tayembwa asked the MPs to also submit names of all people involved in the practice.
