After President Museveni’s visit to the Qatar prime minister Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani in 2017 for new development strategies. Finally, this plea has been answered by the experts from Qatar that have flown in to skill Ugandans.
When the president of Uganda met the Qatar prime minister, both leaders agreed to work together. Hamad Majegher the director of Qatar development bank explained why they chose Uganda. He added that they will explore every possible means to see that Uganda develops like Qatar.
Simon Ajiku the ambassador of Uganda in Qatar appealed to Ugandans to utilize this opportunity and benefit from this relationship, he also pointed out how Ugandans can benefit from this partnership in spite Uganda importing more from Qatar that exports.
Gideon Badagawa the head of the private sector foundation called upon Ugandans to come for more training. Likewise, Lawrence Byensi the director of the Uganda investments Authority (UIA) pledged to continue attracting more foreign investors.
