Uganda Cranes Returns Home Without Coach As Desabre Quits For An Egyptian Club Job

Last night Uganda cranes team of 17-players flew in with Egypt air & landed at 9:30 PM at Entebbe airport, except for the families, the fans didn’t gather at the airport to welcome back the team from the AFCON 2019 tournament.

The players with the Denis Onyango the captain arrived in a down mood and took selfies with a few fans at airports. The team left the for the tournament with Sebastian Desabre as the coach but on return, it was all history since he resigned immediately after being knocked out by Senegal. According to Ahmed Hussein the FUFA spokesperson, the soccer body is on the hunt for the new coach.

Patrick Kaddu’s name has been on the lips of the Ugandans since the tournament started as he scored the very first goal for the national team in the AFCON 2019, according to him, it is a tournament that he will live to remember.

Uganda was knocked by Senegal at the round of 16 stages after which Sebastian Desabre resigned as the coach as it is alleged that he is joining an Egyptian club of Pyramids FC.
