Bobi Wine  Declares His Late Driver Hero

It has clocked one year ever since Hon. Ssentamu Kyagulanyi’s driver Yasin Kawuma was shot dead in Arua municipality when they were campaigning for the area MP.

In this context, the legislators joined the family and friends of the later Yasin Kawuma to memorialize him at his home in Lusanja.

Kyagualyi, Latif Ssebagala and other legislators said that memorializing Kawuma indicates that he is among the national heroes because he died while on duty.

The MPs further said that time has come to help all those have been injured in the course of opposing the government without neglecting any.

The widows of the late Kawuma explained how they have been able to go through life after the tragedy, in the same way the appreciated those that have continuously loved and supported.

Collectively a sum of Shs 2.58M was contributed to support the widows and orphans of the late Kawuma.
