Tipper Truck Crashes Into City Restaurant

Residents and people working along Rubaga road survived an accident when tipper truck driver lost control and truck carrying gravel crashed into a restaurant.

Tipper truck with registration number UAL 086W banged the restaurant when the driver lost control just after the Bakuli roundabout while joining Rubaga road.

Sam Gombya the Kampala central deputy mayor, Kiyigo Moses the area councillor and other leaders arrived at the scene, expressed distress over the occurrence and recommended adjustments at this point of the road.

The accident survivors expressed their concern alongside owners of the restaurant crushed down, who said that lots of items have been destroyed.

The traffic police worked tirelessly to remove the wreckage and to stabilize the traffic flow.
