3 Kids Survive Slaughter, Police Rescues Kidnapper

Matuga police rescued a woman identified as Nandugu Sarah 45 from being lynched by angry mob whom they accused of taking part in human sacrifice in Geyena village of Gombe Wakiso district.

Nandugu Sarah was captured trafficking 3 children namely Nabakooza Hasifah 8, Nalubega Shadia 7and Nansubuga 7, this came about when one of the residents noticed and how suspicious Nandugu while smuggling the kids.

While at the Gombe police Nandugu tried to hide away from the cameras, But when Kibuka Ambrose who is in charge of children’s affairs at the station exposed her during the interrogation.

In the process she started to deny trafficking the kids, saying that she was only taking them for prayers.

Nabaweesi Prossy A parents to one of the kids that survived being trafficked elaborated how she uncovered the plot. In the same, the kids narrated that Nandugu promised to give them snacks.

According to Kibuka Ambrose a police officer, the same lady had been caught smuggling children, being that this was the second time in a space of one day, it aroused the wrath of the residents, though he commended the residents for obeying his plea to avoiding mob justice.

Eventually, Nanduga was conveyed in Harrier to a place where was supposed supposedly taking the children.

This unfolded at a time when over 10 children were kidnapped within 8 days, and it was confirmed that 4 of them were sacrificed on the Kalangala Island, this what angered the resident to the extent of attempting to lynch Nandugu.
