Bobi Wine Case Postponed, Government Fails To Get Evidence

Justice Joan Ketty of Buganda road has postponed the hearing of the cases filed against Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi (Bibi Wine) David Lule, Julius Katongole and others.

These are accused of the unlawful demonstration when they protested against OTT or the social media tax.

The case hearing was postponed when Barbra Kyomugisha the public prosecutor appealed to the court for more time to gather evidence.

The accused legal team expressed distress over the way the public prosecutors have over delaying to furnish the court with evidence.

The accused asserted that the government lacks evidence but it only intends to divert Ugandans from the cause.
