Salt Media Staff Appears Before UJA

After an incident that happened this week when journalists from a ascertain media house invaded salt media and trespassed on the premises which bred a conflict that has attracted the attention of Uganda journalist association.

The UJA formulated an investigation committee that petitioned some of the salt media to present themselves and account for what happened, today some of the salt media staff appeared before the committee led by Ssendegeya Muhammad.

Charles James Ssenkubuge the salt media SPD appeared before the investigation committee in a closed-door meeting.

After the meeting Ssenkubuge narrated that he is a son of a journalist and has fathered several journalists, therefore the scuffles caused him a great disappointment.

He urged the UJA committee to petition the accusers to account for invading salt media premises. In addition, he was shocked by the fact that he was mentioned among those that brutalized journalized, which sternly refuted, and condemned the act and sincerely apologized about all that transpired.

Wandulu Bonney one of the accused salt media staff in his defence said that he did not fight of beat anybody as some claim, he said that he was instead defending the journalists that were being beaten.
