Police Up To Smoke Out Public Drug Embezzlers

The drug shortage issue is coming to an end due to police efforts that have come out openly to warn all government medical officials involved embezzlement.

While addressing the Uganda medical workers union, Polly Namaye the police deputy spokesperson issued out the warnings.

Namaya said that the police action was sparked off by several reports of citizens that approach public healthy families and receive no help because of the missing drugs.

She also pointed out various bodies the police will be collaborating with to combat the vice.

Sanya Aggrey the Uganda medical works union secretary revealed that drugs are embezzled from the top management level but not at the hospital level.

Marie Nanyanzi the head of operations in Sauti Wanaich stated that many Ugandan have not received the required medical assistance from the healthy public health facilities, even the private facilities have not availed the necessary medical services despite being expensive.
