Bajjo Walks Out Of Jail

Events and Music Promoter Andrew Mukasa alias Bajjo has been granted bail by Buganda Road Magistrates Court.

The Magistrate Stella Maris Amabilis granted a cash bail of four million shillings to Bajjo and his three sureties have been bonded 20 million shillings non-cash.

The sureties are Abbey Musinguzi also an Events Promoter popularly known as Abitex, Aloysius Matovu Kiiza and Democratic Party's Moses Bigirwa.

However, State Prosecutor Patricia Cingtho had objected to his bail application stating that investigators, in this case, swore an affidavit saying that Bajjo would interfere with investigations once released.

The Magistrate noted that the sureties are substantial and directed them to deposit their National Identification cards with the court. She has advised them to return to court on July 25th, 2019 should they fail to meet the bail conditions.

Bajjo is charged with offensive communication and inciting violence.
