More Billions Pumped Into Wealth Creation Project

The Operation Wealth Creation project has rolled out 500 hybrid cattle to farmers in Kikyusa and Kamira sub-counties in Luweero district.

These cattle are worth 1.5 billion shillings but for the start, only 50 have been given out to farmers who appreciated the move.

Col. Nkeera Samuel, the head of Operation Wealth Creation in Luweero district cautioned the farmers not to sell off the animals before they multiply.

Dr. Kasule Timothy, the Luweero district veterinary department urged them always to consult them through agricultural extension workers at the respective sub-counties.

Hon. J. Chrysostom Muyingo, the Baamunaanika Constituency legislator, who handed the animals on behalf of the government, thanked the NRM government for this brave move that has seen many improve their livelihood.
