L.C.1 Chairperson Survives Murder over Witchcraft Accusations

Willington Serebe the Kikandwa L.C.I chairperson in Kakiri sub-county Wakiso district has survived being lynched by a mob that vowed to end his life.

Serebe at the centre of action stopped his children from mistreating a tenant who has not paid up his rent for two months.

However, residents gave the other side of the cause of disagreement as the children suspected the tenant to use charms on them.

Bonny the tenant phoned Serebe who was in Entebbe on official duties, to tell him that his wife was in danger of being lynched by a mob.

The chairperson narrowly survived the mob when journalists intervened with cameras.
