Armed Robbers Invaded A City Business Leaving Two Dead In Zana

Armed robbers attacked mobile money and phone vending kiosk killing two people in Zana Bunamwaya division Makindye Sabagabo municipality Wakiso district.

Harriet Nalwadda 35 the kiosk owner and Maureen Nakabuye 20 the kiosk attendant were shot dead last night.

The bystanders highlighted that the robbers were on a motorcycle that frequently broke down as they were running away, though they were not able to capture them.

The residents rushed the victims to the nearby hospital to save lives but by the time they reached, it was too late as Nalwadda breathed her last.

Julius Mabike a husband to the deceased, who was travelling, on receiving unfortunate news of the wife’s demise was so much grieved.

Kayigwa Yusufu the area chairperson who was in grief stated it is unfortunate that the robbers have started killing the youths, and it was moaning & wailing in the home of the deceased.

Luke Owoyesigiri the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson confirmed the murder of the two ladies.
