City Residents Clash Over Toilet In Muyenga Makindye Division

Namwongo residents in Makindye division are in great distress because of the community toilet closure.

The residents that were easing themselves at that particular time were kicked out even before completing their sessions.

The toilet disputes are between the Namwongo residents and the Bukasa parish chairperson Yasin Omar. However the KCCA put Ntege Adam in charge of the contested toilet, the angry residents/youth invaded Ntege on allegations of closing their toilets.

The residents accuse Ntege of squandering the toilet levies and leaving it in a terrible state.

The leaders of Namwongo II market rubbished the youths’’ allegations and claims that Ntegge forcibly took over the toilet.

The market vendors urged the youths not to be irrational as the property housing the toilet belongs to the market vendors.
