Buganda Independence: Kyebando Engage in Communal Service in Commemoration

Kyebando residents in Kisarosaro led by the Kabaka’s chief of Kyebando parish joined the other parts of Buganda in communal service as they celebrate the kingdom independence.

Luyima Faruoku emphasized the importance of hygiene among the residents.  However, the residents complained of the domestic waste issue as the locals disperse it all over the place. Kintu Khalid recounted that this campaign is to keep the Kabaka’s subjects healthy. Luyima Farouk the Kabaka’s chief reassured that the communal service will not stop today but to continue. He further vowed that they will not let down the Kabaka but to fulfil all the duties assigned to them with due diligence.
