Atiku commends a former teacher, Mustafa Gerimo who has walked for about one week from Kampala to Madi OKollo creating awareness about the importance of preserving and multiplying shea butter tree.

Atiku says that due its benefits that include health, food and beautification the Shea butter tree is highly an economic species not only to the people of West Nile and Northern Uganda but a country as a whole.

Atiku laments that the Shea butter tree is getting extinct and it’s unfortunate that nothing is being done to address the challenge.
